I liked this review. Not too spoilerish, but gives a good flavor of what’s going on in the Bobiverse

Hi Dennis, glad you liked my review. I loved your Bobiverse trilogy, it was a refreshing change from the usual over-stuffed, dry hard SF, with a a focus on the implications of AIs and terraforming technology AND a great sense of humor. Exactly what I needed in 2017!
Since I have a chance to ask, did you get to meet Ray Porter before he narrated the series, and did you know he would be such a great match? I always wonder about the “collaborative process” between author and narrator, especially when it works so well.
And finally, I would remiss not to ask what you’re considering next, since many writers would try to stretch their series for a lot more volumes, so it takes some courage to wrap up with just three installments.

There will be more Bobiverse books, but they’ll be standalones, i.e. individual stories in the same universe. I hope to put out something like one book a year, as long as the stories keep coming. There will be other books as well; I’m finishing up Singularity Trap this month, then I’ll be re-editing and re-releasing Outland and then a sequel. That will take most of 2018.
Ray was assigned to my book by the audible people. I had no clue, as I’d never been exposed to audio books at that point. In retrospect, it was a very good choice. I’ve never met him, but we did exchange some emails before Ray started recording, so he could get a feel for the characters.
I came here hoping to see you had more bob-novels. The only part I didn’t like was putting it down and knowing the the story was over. Wonderful work. Thank you! And Ray Porter did an amazing job as well, I hope you guys collaborate in the future. Best wishes in 2018!
Hi Dennis,
That’s great to hear there will be more BOBIVERSE stand-alone stories. The distributed nature of the Bobs makes for unlimited possibilities in a wide-open universe. Looking forward to that!
And for Ray Porter, I think you got the perfect match for your books, so that was a lucky break
Just finished book 3. Love the series. I can’t wait for the next one. Programmers rule.
Hiya, it seems like you’re making a poem with your Bobiverse Titles? Or is this a reference to another work, sort of like “All Creatures Great and Small” series by James Herriot.

“We are Legion” and “For We are Many” is a misquote of Mark 5:9, and “All These Worlds” is a quote from Clarke’s “2010”
I just want to say how much I enjoyed this series. Highly addictive! When I’m bored, I just start reading parts of it again. Thank you so much!
Definitely hope there are more stories on the way. And… WHAT ABOUT BENDER?? 🙂
Best regards,
Rich
when is earthside coming ou?
I believe I have listened to the 3 novels 4 times now on the commute to work. I seam to catch parts that I didn’t remember or mis remembered. I have enjoyed every part of the books. I have been laughing at the way the BOB’s interact love it. Also saddened by the Death of Homer and the effect it had on Riker.
This story line has had me craving the next one. I look forward to the future stories of the BOBiverse.
Thanks,
Jim Hatfield
An idea for consideration a spin off where Butterworth does not suicide and actually becomes wrap it with none of the issues he had i.e. no neural impairment
I mean replicant
I used to think a series should be only 3 books. However, I don’t want this series to end. So, go ahead and write another Bobiverse book. This is such a good series that I hope you reconsider stopping with 3 books.
