I read through the first book on the reccomendation from Amazon. Not even a quarter though the first book and I bought the other two. Dam entertaining! Thank you for your work. Keep it going.

  1. Very nice… wish I could go back and listen to them for the first time… I’d pack a cigarette for afterwards

  2. Hey,

If you were to do a movie of the bobiverse, who would you get to do each of the voices (Ray Porter must be the bobs, or if he’s not available, then I guess Robert Picardo would do… especially being “The Dr” Riker)

    I’d like
    Henry Roberts: Hugh Jackman
Bertram Vickers: Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith!!!!)
    Bridget Sheehan: Bethany Woodruff
    Guppi: Breckin Meyer

    I can’t think of anyone else… guess that’s why I don’t fill casting calls…

You may get a good conversation going on Reddit with this in the /r/bobiverse subreddit. After a quick search, it looks like no one has.

      My list would be:
      Bob(s) – Karl Urban / Nathan Fillion/Ryan Renolds
      Henry – Liam Hemsworth
      Sheehan – Christina Hendricks
Butterworth – Can’t find a actor that matches my visual image of a slightly portly mustached army officer.
Spanish probe(s) voice – Antonio Banderas
      John Cleese – John Cleese.

Of course, there would be problems, like getting the Startrek people to agree to Riker, Matt Groening’s company agree to Homer, and all the other homages to other fiction to also agree to the use of their creations.

being as Patrick Stewart is British and I’d want to see him somewhere cast in the bobiverse I’d have him play Butterworth at least late in life.

Are there any more planned books for this series?! I literally bought the first… then 2 & 3 immediately after and binged all three without stopping… I need more books to fuel this unquenchable addiction lol.

    1. There will be more.

Just finished the first one and found there were two more at audible and absolutely thrilled. Great work. Excellent pace and voice in the writing. And Ray Porter was outstanding. (Reminded me of Wil Wheaton and Scalzi)
    Thanks for the great stuff!!
