I want number 2 as soon as possible

    1. It’s actually written and ready to go. Just need to get the process going. I think the publishers want to see how #1 does, first.

I’m only about 1/4 of the way through the Audible recording and I want to acknowledge how enjoyable this story is. I’m very picky and this is the perfect blend of humor, interesting ideas, and character development.

You’ve done a great job building out a plausible future history and I’m excited to see how the rest of the book goes. And I can’t wait for the second one to come out.

Thank you for the awesome story 🙂

Just finished listening to book 1 and love it. I am picky about my sci-fi books. Has to keep me interested wanting to see what happens next and this book was extremely good. If audible does not do the secound book I am going to be very upset. I want to know what happens next.

Come on man, give us updates. I’m foaming at the mouth for the second book. Through me a bone.

    1. There are more details in another post somewhere, but Book 2 is coming out in March, and 3 probably in June. Ray Porter will be narrating both of the audio books.

Made my day! I can listen to a dozen books before I find one that I really like – and I REALLY like this one. Glad to hear Ray Porter will be narrating both – the audio book just would not be the same without him!

Congratulations on writing a great story! Love the humor.

By far the best book I have read (listened to) in a long time. A great futuristic adventure that will appeal to all techy type of people. Humor and modern day references kept me tuned in the whole time. I couldn’t turn it off.

    Dennis:

Let me take this opportunity to thank you for a very enjoyable and thought provoking book. I found myself going back and re-listening the character and “World” set up, in the start of the book. Which is unusual for me.

I as well found your story through Audible and anticipate the next installment of this series. I also cannot help but to compare your work to “A Boy and His Tank” by Leo Lrankowski, which for me puts you on high ground as that book also introduced new and probable technology which I found entertaining and applicable to the world of the near future. Other aspects of your book remind me of E.E Doc Smith’s works of “Space Opera”, but you avoid the making the situation surreal. Your events move in a cause and effect chain, that while unlikely, are possible.

Hope your fiscal rewards are in alignment with my enjoyment of your craft.

Truly enjoyed book 1. Any chance of speeding up the release date of book 2 ?

    1. We will do everything we can. Everyone wants it out as early as possible. But it has to go through editing, then narration, then production, and experience has shown that takes a while.

Just finished listening to We are Legion and LOVED it. Awesome pick of Ray Porter to do the reading – he ROCKS! SO GLAD to hear you say he is on board for the whole audio series – Jonathan Mayberry did it for his Joe Ledger series, and it really makes a huge difference. Ray is one of my FAVOURITE narrators!

Anyway, can’t WAIT for book 2! The story was awesome and I’ll be picking up the next editions as they come out. Keep ’em coming!

I just finished We Are Legion We Are Bob and I felt compelled to drop you a note of thanks. It was an amazingly fun read. In a way, I am disappointed I found this series so early in its history; if I had waited, I could have begun reading with another book to begin on immediately. I see volume two is complete and awaiting publication, I can’t wait! By the way, am I crazy or would this would make a wonderful television series? Keep up the good work and Thanks again for writing it.

Really enjoying book one audio and glad to hear we are so close on others. I also love Porter-excellent choice. (Was hooked after hearing him do others and discovered this book by narrator search.

Really want to acknowledge how well written this book is (#1). The focus on project management and IT Engineering was thoroughly researched and well-presented throughout. I do IT project management/Engineering for the USARMY and the care brought to the realism made me feel respected while being drawn into the story.

Also, living in a virtual world and exploring the galaxy sounds awesome.

Loved the first book, like all the others above me I can’t wait for the second.

I’ve seen you’ve been compared to other authors, for me it’s like the first time I found the culture through Mr. Banks.

You’ve created some great characters and I am looking forward to see how they all develop. Also like how you’ve made the main protagonist a Brazilian, any reason for that?

    1. Actually, he’s the antagonist. Sorry, that’s writerly pedantry. But no reason, really. I read somewhere that Brazil actually was an empire, historically, so it seemed reasonable that they might at some point want to make Brazil great again.

Have you considered precolabetatiom with Neil Gaiman. I know that Mr Gaiman used to colabetaye with Terry Pratchett back in the days when colabetation across the pond was difficult because of poor technology. My. Gaiman is the favorite author of our entire family because he writes for age groups that fit the intetests of my 9,11,14 year olds and American Gods is one of my favorite audible book, the BBC version.

Terry Pratchett passed away, sorry to say but as good of writer that he was he was known to be difficult to work with so if Mr Gaiman. could work with him then I’m sure with your personal reputation that you both would work well together and I think that your styles would compliment one another and who knows maybe you could create a classic like Terry and Neil did before Meil Gaiman was famous.

Funny my Daughter won a writing contest and read her story at Barnes and Nobel which was a bit ackward because part of her story took place in Powell bookstore which is a famous bookstore in Portland Oregon a major competitor of Barnes and Nobel. My personal belief why the judges awarded her story second in the Northwrst and why she didn’t win to move onto the National competition but I kept this theory to myself to avoid being lumped into a Trump supporter seeing conspiracies everywhere.

Anyways my point is that your style of writing is great and I think that colabetating on a new series or a single book with Neil Gaiman would generate a lot of interest. You both have an interesting perspective on mundane things and have a way of turning then into funny jnsightful literature.

You should meet and discuss. That is my opinion at least but it would require putting egos aside. Neil Gaiman has proven capable of doing this with spectacular success.

    Thanks,

    Chris.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! I appreciated the creative way you illustrated his struggle with identity and whether or not he was the same person/being as original Bob 1.0. I am intrigued at how the Bobs developed such unique personalities while sharing a collective memory/foundation, basically making the clones alternate realities (yet not so alternate) that exist and interact with each other. So trippy! You really set up a lot of potential for this universe and I’m excited for the next book. Thank you!

    Hi!

I just heard this series being raved about on Skeptics Guide to the Universe, and went to order it on Kobo (Australia) – but its not there!
Any chance that this will change in the near future?
Don’t tell me I need to kill a tree 🙂
